See, One of Last Monday's Brides - Mrs. Richard W. Hall - “The week opened with the marriage of Miss Amy Frances de Gozzaldi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silvio M. De Gozzaldi of 96 Brattle St., Cambridge, and Ensign Richard Walworth Hall, a son of Mr. Osborn B. Hall of Rockland Av, Malden, in old Christ Church, Cambridge, on Monday afternoon. Killarney roses, Easter lilies and greenery decorated the church. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore her mother's wedding gown of white brocaded satin veiled with cream net and trimmed with rare old Brussels lace. She also wore her mother's bridal veil arranged to fall back from the face and caught with orange blossoms. Miss Dorothy White of 29 Reservoir St., Cambridge, was the bride's only attendant. She wore a blue-green gown and a black velvet hat and carried a bouquet of roses. Owing to uncertainty about the bridegroom's furlough, the wedding plans were hastily arranged and no invitations were sent out to the church. The guests were present informally and were seated by Mr. Samuel Francis Batchelder and Mr. Nathan Lord Hall, the latter a brother of the bridegroom. Mr. Leland B. Hall acted as best man. Rev. William Appleton Lawrence, rector of St. Stephen's Church, Lynn, and a son of Bishop Lawrence, performed the ceremony. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the bride's home. Ensign Hall is a Harvard '10 man and a graduate of Harvard Law School. He recently graduated from the Cadet School of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has been appointed to command a patrol boat in the English Channel.
