1.    Paul Earnest James, Sr.: born Mar 27, 1927 in Midland, Sebastian County, Arkansas; married to Anna Lorene Porter (1931-2004), daughter of John Thomas Porter (1892-1976) and Maude Case Porter (1895-1964); died November 2, 1994 (aged 67) in Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma; buried at Fairhill Cemetery, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; known children include Paul Earnest James, Jr. and Orvie Raymond James.

 

2.    Robert Lee James: born January 13, 1931 in Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; married August 20, 1952 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas to Dortha Mae Solomon (1934-Living), daughter of Curtis Spencer Solomon (1908-2001) and Clara Rose Walker (1910-1998); died July 6, 2017 (aged 86) in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas; cremated, ashes to be interned with Dortha; known children include: Kathy Mae James, Donna Lou James, Ernie Lee James, Robert Dale James and Avery Garth James.

 

3.    Dorothy Elizabeth James Johnson: born 1934. (Living)

 

4.    Bessie May James: born March 10, 1937 in Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; married to James Walter Duncan (1924-1990) following the birth of her first three children; died November 28, 2019 (aged 82), in Talihina, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; cremated; known children include: Molly James, Paul Edward James, David Lee Horn, Rose Duncan, Bonnie Duncan, Robert Duncan, Claude Duncan and Clyde Duncan.

 

5.    George Odis James: born February 23, 1939 in Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; married circa April 1958 in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma to Alby Lee Dunn (1932-Living), daughter of James William Dunn (1903-1981) and Mandy Davis (1906-1987); died September 9, 2001 (aged 62) in Meeker, Lincoln, County, Oklahoma; buried at Fairhill Cemetery, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; known children include: Sharon James, Glenda James, Brenda James, Diane James and Nancy James.

 

6.    David Rance James: born January 20, 1941 in Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; married May 29, 1964 in Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma to Betty Eurlene Finchum (1946-2020), daughter of Ray Newton Finchum (1894-1950) and Evelena Bell Taylor (1907-1977); died December 16, 2023 (aged 82) in Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma; buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma; known children include: Kevin James, Karen James and Kristy James.

 

7.    Thomas Willard James: born October 12, 1943 in Cameron, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; married February 23, 1965 in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma to Paulette Jean Edwards (1949-2017), daughter of  Lillian Viola Gish; died July 20, 2003 (aged 59) in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma; buried at Fairhill Cemetery, Le Flore County, Oklahoma; known children include: Willard Dale James, Lillian Eva Jean James, Ginger James, Viola Georgette James and Phillip Steven James.

 

8.    Mollie Marie James Lamb: born 1957 in Gans, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma; (Living).

Biographic Notes:

 

Robert Jacob James (1906-1968) is the son of Elias Golden “Goldzie” James (1885-1937) of Sebastian County, Arkansas and Elizabeth “Libbie” Tanner (1877-1910).

 

David Ranch James (1941-2023) grew up in Le Flore County, Oklahoma where his father worked in the coal mines and as a farmer. David attended school up until 8th grade where he then was inducted into the United States Army in 1961. He was honorably discharged in 1964. David was united into marriage to Betty Eurlene Finchum on May 29, 1964 in Woodward, Oklahoma. The couple then made their first home in Woodward, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed three children, Kevin, Karen and Kristy. David worked seven jobs in 56 years. He worked for Broce Construction for 33 years. He then worked in the Oilfield for ten years. He was an avid member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church. He often enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, and visiting other states. He loved going to Fort Supply Lake and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
