Notes:

Margaret James is reported by historian Thomas Allen Glenn to be the sister of David James (1660-1739) who arrived in Pennsylvania on October 28, 1682.  Margaret James married Samuel Miles, son of James Miles on June 25, 1682 in the Parish of Newchurch, Radnorshire, Wales.  Samuel Miles was born in Llanfihangel Helygen Parish, Radnorshire Wales and was the brother of Richard Miles (1654-1713) whose son John Miles married Rebecca James, the daughter of David James (1660-1739).  Margaret James died on January 10 1726/1727 in Radnor Township.  Samuel Miles died circa 1708 in Radnor Township.

Phebe Miles’ husband, Evan Evans, was the cousin of Ruth Miles’ husband, Owen Evans.  That is to say that Evan Evans’ father, Owen Evan, was the brother Owen Evans’ father, Thomas Evan.
