first marriage in 1916 to William Thomas McQuade (1893-1946), son of Thomas Roe McQuade
(1859-1893) and Martha Jane Hickman (1868-1956; second marriage in 1946 to Vernon
Covington McEntire (1894-1968), son of Harvey Covington McEntire (1861-1952) and
Margaret L. "Maggie" Moody (1872-1961); died November 2, 1978 (aged 83) in Fort Worth,
Tarrant County, Texas; buried in the Entrance Garden of Restland Memorial Park in
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; known children include: Bill James McQuade (1919-2005).
2. Clarence Lively James: born August 19, 1896, in Indian Township, Payne County,
Oklahoma; first marriage on April 28, 1918, in Oklahoma to Lucile Hudson; subsequent
marriage to Lena Gertrude McWilliams (1902-1961), daughter of James Samuel McWilliams
(1872-1953) and Sarah Amanda Gordon (1875-1952); died May 21, 1973 (aged 76) in San
Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas buried in the Entrance Garden of Restland Memorial
Park in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; known children through Lena Gertrude McWilliams
include: Jack Reagan James (1927-2014).
3. Dorris Bryan James: born July 22, 1908 in Leonard, Fannin County, Texas; married
in 1927 in Texas to Mary Skitto (1909-1936); also reported to have married Grace
Jane Bennett (1913-1993); died December 2, 1980 (aged 72) in Hot Springs, Garland
County, Arkansas; buried at Restland Memorial Park, Space 4, Lot 5, Block L, Chapel
Section in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; known children include: Russell Bryan James
and Lynda James.
4. William Morrell James: born June 11, 1911 in Leonard, Fannin County, Texas;
married August 1, 1930, in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma to Marietta Neale (1911-1961),
daughter of Albert Roy Neale (1890-1952) and Lula Bell "Lucy" Riley (1892-1974);
died October 13, 1959, in Leonard, Fannin County, Texas; buried at Leonard Cemetery
in Leonard, Fannin County, Texas; known children include: William Neale James (1931-1931)
and Jimmy Roy James (1932-2009).
