1.    Willie Joe James: born December 24, 1924; married Dortha LaVeria Street (1929-2024), daughter of Almer Bluett Street (1880-1949) and Nora Mae Smith (1901-1937), died December 18, 1995 (aged 70); buried at Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Brazoria County, Texas; known children include: Rodney Joe James (1949–2008), Michael Ray James, Paula M. James and Gary W. James.

 

2.    Robert Ray James: born 1927.

William “Bill” Jackson James (1894-1976) was the son of Braxton Leftrich James (1864-1923) of Fannin County, Texas and Flora Alice Johnson (1874-1960).
