Children of William Ralph James, Sr. (1920-1982) of Union, Newton County, Mississippi and Lyle Delores Hollingsworth (1923-2007) of Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan:

 

1.    William Ralph James, Jr.: born April 6, 1942 in Union, Newton County, Mississippi; married to Joyce Ann Wilson (born 1941), daughter of Woodrow Arnold Wilson (1917-1999) and Alla Mae Turner (19232021); known children include: Jonathan Christopher James (Family Tree DNA Kit No. 108350).

 

2.    Judy Ann James:  born November 5, 1943 in Union, Newton County, Mississippi; married to Jerry Lee Padgett (born 1942); died October 14, 2020 (aged 76) in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee; buried at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi; known children include: Eric Padgett, Duane Padgett and Holly Padgett.

 

3.    Diana Kay James:  born June 28, 1947 in Union, Newton County, Mississippi.

 

4.    Danny Ray James:  born June 28, 1947 in Union, Newton County, Mississippi, married to Mary Jane James (1950-2010); known children include: Jillian James and Lyla Brooke James.

Biographical Notes:

 

William Ralph James, Sr. (1920-1982) was the son of Harvey Malcolm James (1884-1973) of Neshoba County, Mississippi and Lora Louannie Collins (1890-1966) of Newton County, Mississippi.

 

Judy Ann James Padgett (1943-2020) was a teacher's assistant in the Harrison County, Mississippi school system and a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville, Tennessee where she was also a member of the choir and the Explorers Bible Study Group. Mrs. Padgett was a member of the Starlet Dance Group in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was a devoted Air Force wife for 28 years.
