2.    Harvey Malcolm James: born January 7, 1884 in Neshoba County, Mississippi; married 1907 in Stratton, Mississippi to Lora Louannie Collins (1890-1966), daughter of William Lee Collins (1864-1940) and Mary Jane Cleveland (1860-1929); died April 19, 1973 (aged 89) in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi; buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi; known children include: Vera Mace James, Yewell Hailey James and William Ralph James.

 

3.    Edward Milton James: born April 9, 1885 in Neshoba County, Mississippi; married Ora Mae May (1892-1978); died April 15, 1952 (aged 67); buried at Memorial Park, Union, Newton County, Mississippi; known children include: Marzett H. James.

 

4.    Bertie James: born February 26, 1887; married in 1908 to Grover C. Burroughs (1883-1959);died September 23, 1978 (aged 91); buried at Neshoba Cemetery, Neshoba County, Mississippi; known children include: Carl Hall Burroughs.

 

5.    Minnie Alice James: born March 28, 1889; married 1919 to Roy Carlton Pugh (1886-1954); died December 9, 1976 (aged 87); buried at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, Andalusia, Covington County, Alabama; known children include: Alice Geraldine Pugh.

 

6.    Velma J. James: born February 18, 1891; married December 10, 1911 to LeRoy Walton (1887-1969), son of Elijah Leroy Walton (1864-1941) and Jennie McBeath; died November 20, 1978 (aged 87); buried at Lindsey Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Leake County, Mississippi; known children include: Zadeen Walton.

 

7.    Pearl Cordelia James: born November 26, 1892; married William Micajah Gray (1893-1964), son of Robert Hartsell Gray (1860-1939) and Micajah Watkins King (1862–1914); died February 5, 1980 (aged 87); buried at Union Cemetery, Plat B, Lot 478, Site 10, Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia.

 

8.    Grover L. James: born December 17, 1894; married Wilma D. James (1910–2007); died March 6, 1984 (aged 89) in Newton County, Mississippi; buried at Memorial Park, Union, Newton County, Mississippi.

 

9.    Melvin Loavelle James: born December 10, 1896 in Union, Newton County, Mississippi; died March 27, 1897 (aged 3 months) in Union, Newton County, Mississippi; buried at Memorial Park, Union, Newton County, Mississippi.
